If you want to see inside some of Austin's most promising startups, next week is the time to do it.
The NewCo Austin conference, which takes place Tuesday and Wednesday, lets you visit company offices, meet company founders and hear about the work they are doing.
The goal is to showcase the latest trends in the city's fastest-growing industries, including technology, education, social entrepreneurship and sustainability, and to introduce the people behind the innovations.
The conference features two full days of sessions featuring more than 90 companies and organizations around the city, including WeWork, the Austin Technology Incubator and startups like TrendKite, and PopUp Play.
NewCo Austin is part of NewCo, based in New York, which hosts open house-style events around the world, including the San Francisco Bay area, Toronto and London. Austin's Capital Factory, which is an affiliate partner, is hosting sessions as well.
Because of a record turnout at last year's event, the Austin conference has been expanded to two days this time around.
"NewCo's mission is to identify and celebrate new kinds of companies big and small, creating positive change in how they work, what they create in the world, and who they are as citizens of their community," said NewCo co-founder Brian Monahan.
Tickets start at $30 and can be purchased on the NewCo website.
