New video games out this week
“Valkyria Revolution.” This fantasy game set in “An alternate world based on the European era of industrialization” evolves the series from turn-based strategy to real-time combat. Expect lots of drama whether you play it in Japanese with subtitles or with an English-language dub. Rated T for Teen. $40 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PlayStation Vita.
“Diablo III: Rise of the Necromancer.” Fans of the “Diablo” series will be excited to know the Necromancer class from “Diablo II” is finally making its way to the sequel in this expansion pack, along with new gear, runes and even a pet. It works with “Diablo III: Reaper of Souls” and “Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition.” Rated M for Mature. $15, for Windows PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
