Ride-hailing service Uber is facing a lawsuit after it allegedly hid the fact that hackers had stolen data from the company. The lawsuit, filed in Pennsylvania, claims Uber waited a year to tell drivers and others that their personal information had been illegally obtained.
Amazon Books opens
The first Amazon Books store in Texas -- and the 14th in the U.S. -- makes its debut today at Domain Northside in North Austin. The store carries about 3,800 titles -- a mix of new releases, bestsellers and an assortment of other books that have been rated four or more stars by Amazon customers.
Damaging driverless cars
A new report found that a third of crashes involving driverless cars so far this year involved an intentional attack by an angry human. San Francisco seems to a particular hot spot for these incidents.
