Spotify today announced a new free version of its mobile app, according to Tech Crunch. The new free tier has more flexibility than the previous one, which limited users to shuffle mode. Now, Spotify is allowing unlimited on-demand songs as long as they appear on one of 15 specific playlists.
Austin-based legal software company Miratech has made its eighth acquisition, buying San Francisco-based ThinkSmart, the American-Statesman's Lori Hawkins reports. ThinkSmart specializes in workflow automation for the legal industry. The ThinkSmart offices will serve as Miratech's West Coast hub.
