Welcome to the July edition of “Leveled Up,” a monthly tally of who was hired or promoted at the top tiers of Austin’s tech companies and startups.
Mobile e-commerce company Shopgate, which last year moved its headquarters from Palo Alto, Calif., to Austin, has hired Ken Aponte as s vice president of customer success. He previously was the senior director at Personify.
Spanning Cloud Apps announced several new hires in July. Spanning provides data backup and recovery for cloud applications. The company hired Chad Savoy as vice president of worldwide sales. Savoy was previously vice president of sales at Vyopta Incorporated.
The company also promoted Andrea Adams to vice president of engineering. Adams was previously director of engineering.
Experian Consumer Services has hired Anand Srinivasan as chief operating officer for its partner solutions business. Credit reporting agency Experian is based in California, but last year purchased Austin-based identity protection firm CSIdentity, which became part of its Partner Solutions division. Srinivasan will be based in Austin and was previously the chief of staff to the CEO at HomeAway.
Brad Wolfe, chief financial officer of Asure Software, resigned to take a job working for private equity firm DCI Group, according to the Austin Business Journal. Asure said in a securities filing that the interim CFO will be Patrick Goepel, who is the company’s CEO.
