The event is scheduled for Feb. 26-28, and is put on by Best Practice Media.
The event, which also takes place in cities including New York, Los Angeles and London, brings together leaders in the field who’ll offer advice and experiences working in these quickly changing areas.
For 2018, the event’s global themes will be “celebrating human connectivity and the power technology provides in bringing the world closer together.” In addition to panels, there will also be workshops and mentoring sessions as well as happy hours and breakfast networking time.
The schedule for the three days is expected to be announced in January and partners for Social Media Week Austin include venues Capital Factory and The Refinery and programming help from General Assembly and Creatives Meet Business.
