New video games out this week
“NBA 2K18.” Improvements to this year’s edition of the basketball game include a beefed up career mode, meta-games to improve player ratings, new Create-A-Player options and even additional gameplay commentary from the likes of Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett. Rated E-10+ for Everyone 10 and Older. $60-$150 in Standard, Legend and Legend Gold Editions for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
“Mavel vs. Capcom: Infinite.” How infinite can a fighting game be if they keep making new versions of it? This a question that must not be asked. This version includes crossover rivalries, 2-on-2 team battles, and superpowers derived from six Infinity Stones. You should probably look into getting at least one of those stones. Rated T for Teen. $60, for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
