Amazon’s Alexa Super Bowl ad -- which opens with a woman asking Alexa for the weather in Austin -- led to much speculation and Twitter debate.
At question: Was the spot a hint at the future location of the online retail giant’s second headquarters?
Or was it just a coincidence that Austin is one of the final U.S. cities vying for HQ2 and the 50,000 jobs and $5 billion in investment the project will bring?

“The Alexa Super Bowl spot and HQ2 are totally unrelated,” the company said in a statement to USA Today
But that doesn’t mean we’ll stop looking for hidden clues.
