Bill and Melinda Gates have used their wealth to help battle poverty around the globe. Now, The Associated Press reports, they are focusing on the issue right here in the U.S. Before taking any action, they first plan an in-depth study of the issues impoverished Americans are facing today.
Tech giant Oracle will announce today that it has selected Austin as the site of its first U.S startup accelerator program, the American-Statesman's Lori Hawkins reports. The accelerator will be housed at Oracle's massive new campus in Southeast Austin. Five or six startups will take part in the six-month program, which will run twice a year.
Here's a shocker: Facebook is messing with your feeds. Again. The latest "fix," according to TechCrunch, is a new feature called Lists that prioritizes personal updates from friends and family.
