National Instruments hired Karen Rapp as its new chief financial officer. Rapp was previously the senior vice president of corporate development at NXP Semiconductor, which used to be Freescale.
National Instruments makes testing and measurement software and hardware.
Spredfast hired Lynn Atchison as its chief financial officer. She previously was the chief financial officer at HomeAway. At HomeAway, Atchison helped led the company through its IPO and sale to Expedia.
Asure Software, which makes workforce management software, hired Brad Burrows as its director of sales. Burrows was previously a regional sales executive at ADP.
WP Engine, which provides hosting for WordPress-built websites, hired Annette Alexander to fill the newly-created position of chief people officer. Prior to being hired at WP Engine, Alexander was the vice president of human resources at RetailMeNot.
Shopgate hired Arlin Owsley as vice president of sales. Shopgate is a mobile e-commerce company that moved its headquarters to Austin last year. Owsley was previously the vice president of channel sales and business development for Protect America.
