Apple bets big on ride hailing in China
A few weeks ago we mentioned Uber's biggest rival, the Chinese company Didi Kuaidi. Now Apple has invested $1 billion in the company, which is now known as Didi Chuxing. It's only a small bit of Apple $233 billion fortune, but seems like a good indicator that Apple sees transportation as part of its future.
Not trending on Facebook: Facebook explaining itself
After accusations from former employees that it has suppressed conservative news, Facebook is now having to explain how it chooses trending topics. Apparently, it follows 1,000 websites to mine those subjects. Think we could get on the list?
Google on your iOS keyboard
Gboard is the name of Google's new GIF-friendly third-party keyboard for iOS devices. It has full search right from the keyboard and is yet another place you'll find Google in your life should you choose to install the add-on.
