New video games out this week:
“Injustice 2.” The giant roster of DC Comics heroes and villains returns in this fighting-game sequel, duking it out in settings from Gotham City to Atlantis. New fighters include Darkseid, Poison Ivy, Robin and Supergirl. Like the previous game, this one takes a very over-the-top, “Mortal Kombat” approach; it originates from the same studio as that series. Rated T for Teen. $60-$100 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in Standard, Digital Deluxe and Collector’s Editions.
“The Surge.” A fast-paced action role-playing game set in a sci-fi world where augmented humans do battle in a dystopian society. Rated M for Mature. $60 for Xbox One and PS4.
