Austin-based Xplore Technologies said Tuesday that a decline in worldwide shipments of rugged tablet computers will result in lower revenue in its fiscal first quarter.
The company, which sells rugged tablet computers worldwide, said it expects revenue of $16 million for the quarter ended June 30.
"As a result of continued lower worldwide shipments of rugged tablets, we experienced slower orders in the quarter," said Mark Holleran, Xplore's president and chief operating officer said in a statement. "We had a telecommunications customer delay a shipment of a significant first quarter order and experienced delays in orders due to Brexit and related global economic uncertainty."
For the full fiscal year, the company said it expects revenue to range between $85 million and $95 million.
Xplore said it will release its complete fiscal first quarter results on Aug. 10.
