New video games out this week:
“Prey.” The new immersive sim from the Austin studio that made “Dishonored” features an abandoned spacecraft, super creepy “Mimic” monsters and lots of super-detailed environments to explore. It’s out on Friday and, though it’s based on the same intellectual property, it’s not necessarily related to the ‘90s game of the same name. Rated M for Mature. $60 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC. You can check out our first impressions of the game and keep an eye out for a studio visit story to be published later this week on 512tech.
“TumbleSeed.” A whimsical-looking game about a rolling vine and balancing arrives with a strong indie pedigree; it came from the developer of “Threes” and “Ridiculous Fishing.” Rated E for Everyone. $15 for PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC and Mac.
